Ewa Borowski
Yoga
Ewa’s journey to yoga has started in Germany 13 years ago where she used to work as a film producer of feature and documentary cinema movies.
She came across her first yoga class by accident (wanting to attend a Pilates class), however this changed the direction of her life.
Ewa started attending yoga classes regularly and feeling more and more inner peace, she decided to travel to India, the cradle of yoga, to deepen her practice and knowledge.
She stayed at the Abhimanyu Ashram in Pushkar (Rajasthan) learning to be with herself and absorbing the peaceful energy of the ashram. During her almost 2 years long journey she studied yoga philosophy, pranayama, meditation, asanas, Ayurveda and yoga therapy and completed her Yoga Teacher’s Training at the Parimukti Yoga in Goa in 2016. Her fast-paced life as a film producer turned into a consciously slow existence in the Oxfordshire countryside.
Yoga is her way of life, teaching yoga is her passion. Ewa’s classes are fun & flowing sequences, with a portion of yoga philosophy and a strong focus on staying in the present moment.
Mats Wivesson
Tai Chi
Mats first contact with t’ai chi was in 1992 in Ealing, London. Unfortunately, his progress was cut short due to work commitment. He moved to Walton-on-Thames in 2005 where he started with Master Hine Tai Chi Institute (co-founder of T’ai Chi & Qigong Union for Great Britain). He practised weekly with the excellent instructor Kevin Mullins (Walton-on-Thames T’ai Chi) and attended Master Hines Saturday seminars as well.
In 2018, he moved to Banbury and started at the British Tai Chi Academy with Master Peter Fletcher. He's practising with Master Peter the Yang style: 8 movements, 24 movements, 48 movements, Qi Gong and Reflexology.
Holly Wild
Pilates
Whilst awaiting back surgery in 2008, Holly discovered Pilates.
It was on this journey (pre and post op) that she realised the true power of the discipline. But it was the regular practice that kept the back pain free and strong, amongst many other benefits.
Holly decided to turn this new found love and hobby into a career of her own and in 2016 trained and qualified to become a level 3 Mat Pilates instructor. She now teaches approximately 120 people per week ranging from 19 to 83 years old.
The joy of Pilates is that there is always something that someone can do in a class and Holly promotes this in all of her lessons. Whether you are pre, post op, rehabilitating from an injury, living with a permanent disability or to enhance your strength and mobility, you will always be welcomed and catered for.
Holly believes in working hard to gain the most out of each Pilates session but this is always balanced with a little light humour as it has to be enjoyable too!
Holly also holds certificates in Pilates small equipment, pre and post natal, barre Pilates and rebounder UK.
We endorse Holly as a Pilates instructor as, not only does she hold a community recognition of being a tutor of excellence but she has suffered with an injury and understands the merits of Pilates as a method of recovery
