Adam Newberry

MSK Physiotherapy Technician

Adam Newberry joined the Banbury Private Physiotherapy Practice and Cassia Health following a 20-year career pathway within the NHS. Having worked as a trainee Paramedic he developed an interest within rehabilitation and care for the older person and those who suffer with frailty.

Part of his work has led him to understand the needs of those who have Parkinsons Disease, Dementia and Alzheimer’s and this led him to consider working within Parkinsons Warrior classes to engage with all stages of the condition and enable clients to seek exercise as a form of therapy, plus visit homes of those requiring continued exercise to maintain their status quo working with carers and relatives to re-enforce therapeutic activity and enable the client to maintain a quality of life within their home.

Within the Banbury Private Physiotherapy Practice Adam supports the Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapist by engaging with clients and assisting with them to perform their prescribed exercise regime and feedback changes that may be required to allow the client progression.
He is now an accredited Parkinsons Warrior and Older person exercise therapist and is delighted to be able to bring the class programs to the wellness suite at Cassia Health Brackley and a few exercises to people’s homes.

Holly Wild

Pilates Tutor

Holly discovered pilates whilst awaiting back surgery in 2008 and turned it into a career in 2016 when she trained and qualified to become a level 3 Mat Pilates instructor. She now teaches approximately 120 people per week ranging from 19 to 83 years old.

The joy of Pilates is that there is always something that someone can do in a class and Holly promotes this in all of her lessons. Whether you are pre, post op, rehabilitating from an injury, living with a permanent disability or to enhance your strength and mobility, you will always be welcomed and catered for.

Holly believes in working hard to gain the most out of each Pilates session but this is always balanced with a little light humour as it has to be enjoyable too!
